摘要
The elevated temperature performance of six particulate MMC materials covering a variety of production methods, compositions and heat treatment conditions has been assessed. While there are some benefits of existing particulate MMCs at temperatures up to about 200 degrees C, improvements to the elevated temperature properties of the matrix are needed to take advantage of the increased stiffness which is maintained in some of the MMCs to temperatures of up to similar to 260 degrees C.
