摘要
E-bikes have become increasingly popular. Regular bicycles can be retrofitted for e-bike capability. Existing solutions focus on wiring sensors and do not allow to leverage of the benefits of IoT for end-users and manufacturers. Designing a retrofit kit as a wireless Cyber-Physical System can facilitate the retrofit process and enable new business models for the manufacturer. We present a prototype based on Bluetooth wireless technology demonstrating the feasibility of a e-bike retrofit CPS kit.
