摘要
Technology plays an important role in today's classrooms. Students use computers, tablets, and smart boards during learning. In mathematics, especially, these tools can be very useful for teachers in engaging students to new material and lessons. Blended learning is one of the options to use advantages of modern technologies. The paper deals with the efficiency of blended learning in teaching mathematics at Trnava University, Faculty of Education. The analysis of the experiment made in the academic years 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 on a sample of 120 students revealed that this modern method of education can significantly improve the ability of our students to achieve the learning outcomes in mathematics.
