DQEM and DQFDM for the analysis of composite two-dimensional elasticity problems

摘要
The differential quadrature element method (DQEM) and differential quadrature finite difference method (DQFDM) ha,e been proposed by the author. The differential quadrature. generic differential quadrature and mapping technique are used in developing DQEM and DQFDM. The two novel numerical methods are effective for solving generic continuum mechanics problems. In this paper, these two numerical methods are used to solve the composite two-dimensional elasticity problems. Numerical procedures are summarized and presented. Numerical results are also presented. They demonstrate the DQEM and DQFDM. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
