摘要
A wide-aperture plasma source of low-energy electron beams on the basis of an electrically asymmetric reflex discharge is studied experimentally. The characteristic features of the generation of electron beams are investigated, and the boundaries of the generation regime are determined. The influence of the dimensions and shape of the discharge electrodes on the source characteristics is examined. A method for efficiently controlling the electron-beam current is proposed.
