Two new 3D networks Co(II) complexes constructed via the bridging dicyanamide and 2,2′-bipyrimidine ligands:: Structures and magnetic properties

摘要
Two new complexes [Co(bipym)(dca)](dca) (1) and [Co(bipym)(dca)](2)(ClO4)(2) (CH3OH).2H(2)O (2) (dca = dicyanamide, bipym = 2,2'-bipyrimidine) have been synthesized and their structuresl magnetically characterized. Complex 1 crystallizes in a monoclinic system P2(1)/n space group, Z = 4, with a = 9.3710(2), b = 15.0690(3), c = 9.8920(2) angstrom, beta = 92.4780(10)degrees. Complex 2 crystallizes in a monoclinic system C2/c space group, Z = 4, with a = 16.4190(3), b = 17.0880(3), c = 12.1130(2) angstrom, and beta = 95.1070 (10)degrees. The crystal structure in 1 and 2 is a three-dimensional network contraction through the bridging 1,5-dca and bipym ligands. Temperature dependence of magnetic measurements show antiferromagnetic couplings in all cases with J = -7.22 for 1, and -7.11 cm(-1) for 2, respectively.
