Control Algorithms of Discrete Reactive Power Compensators with PI and Fuzzy Logic Controllers

摘要
This paper studies the control algorithm of conventional PI and Fuzzy logic like PI controller for voltage control using discrete reactive power compensators. The binary thyristor switched capacitor BTSC is introduced as discrete reactive power compensator. The PI controller parameters are determined according to the power system parameters by considering both of fast and stability during voltage control using BTSC. Fuzzy logic like PI controller is designed to control BTSC using the fuzzy rules estimates the actual system performance. The performance of the designed control systems is analyzed for normal and uncertainty modes.
