摘要：

In this paper, 4 coal samples which size are smaller than 0.5mm are chosen, every coal is sieved into following size fractions: 0.5-0.25 mm, 0.25-0.125 mm, 0.125-0.071 mm, 0.071-0.045 mm, <0.045 mm. The contact angle of coal with water and n-hexane are measured by using of powder penetrating velocity method. A better method that can calculate absolute contact angle is used. The relationships between the wettability and characteristics of coal including ash, size and metamorphic grade are discussed.
