摘要
A study was conducted to develop a new approach to form G-quadruplex complexes efficiently by modifying the sequence. The study also investigated the use of these conformations as functional probes. The investigations were conducted using a phosphorothioate DNAzyme strategy. The phosphorothioate DNAzyme strategy was used to perform sensitive and selective optical detection of mercury(II) ions. The utilization of the DNAzyme operated by the phosphorothioate G-quadruplex formed from T4G4-S 3 combined the advantage of sensitive and selective optical detection of mercury(II) ions. The modification of oligonuleotides with sulfur and the regulation of the phosphorothioate G-quadruplex by metal ions such as Hg 2+ were also combined to develop the strategy for sensitive and selective optical detection of mercury(II) ions.
