The cost and length of hospitalization for acute myocardial infarction in the US are significantly higher for the Hispanic population. However, differences in comorbidities and procedure utilization do not fully explain this disparity. Additional process measures are needed to better describe these differences. Published by Elsevier Ireland Ltd.
