摘要
Protonated graphitic C3N4 (pCN) was modified by cis-bis (isothiocyanate)-bis (2,2'-bipyridyl-4,4' -dicarboxylate) ruthenium (II) (N3) and bis (tetrabutylammonium) dihydrogen bis (isothiocyanate) bis (2,2'-bipyridyl-4,4 ''-dicarboxylate) ruthenium (II) (N719). The catalysts have strong ability in absorbing visible light (lambda > 420 nm), showing significantly superior activity than pCN in water splitting for H2 production. The average H-2 evolution rates achieved by using N3/pCN and N719/pCN as catalysts and using Pt as a co-catalyst reached 1490.7 and 2500.1 mu mol h(-1) g(-1), respectively, much higher than the rate (592.2 mu mol h(-1) g(-1)) achieved by using the pCN-Pt combination. A feasible mechanism of charge transfer and hydrogen generation was proposed. This work provides new examples on dye-photosensitized g-C3N4.
