摘要
In this study, an attempt is made to develop a system that can search a point or region satisfying prescribed requirements by using a matching technique. The proposed system does not use spatial query nor feature query but just the image information. Search is implemented as a process of matching to this image. This is called "Image query". In other words, the system does not use logical addition or logical multiplication of the spatial data and feature data, but uses only image data representing a suitable location. Introducing the image query, it is possible to reduce the load of user for the query, because the pattern matching has been developed well. Then, the problem of searching a suitable point or region can be formulated as an optimization problem. An image processing using Genetic Algorithm (GA) is introduced in this study. The proposed system can be applied to surveying the possibility of landslides or slope failures, which frequently occur in Japan due to the heavy rain in typhoon or rainy season. A numerical example is presented to demonstrate the applicability and efficiency of the proposed system.
