Continuous-time Identification for a class of Switched Linear Systems

In this paper, we propose an identification scheme for continuous-time switched linear systems with input-output form. The identification problem of such system consists in the estimation of parameters of the transfer functions of all subsystems which constitute the switched system. To the best of our knowledge, no identification algorithm has been proposed for the identification of continuous-time switched linear systems. The proposed identification scheme is based on the use of an appropriate input sequence, sum of sinusoids, in order to reconstruct consistent sub-systems outputs. These consistent outputs are then used for the identification of parameter vectors of transfer functions of sub-systems. We show by some numerical simulations that the proposed identification scheme performs well.
