The article introduces the scholarly community to the Russian translations of three poems by P. J. de &ranger (Jacques, Le vieux vagabond and Plus de vers) made by E. V. Novosiltseva in 1861. Drawing on the manuscripts and other sources, it reconstructs A. A. Fet's extensive editorial changes made to the drafts.
