摘要
Advanced methods of testing the toxicity of papermaking wastewater are summarized in this paper, including germiculture method, chromatogram analytical method, luminescent bacteria test (L.B.T), fish toxicity test method and potentiometric titration. The principle and process of these methods were discussed. The common characteristics of these methods are the operation conditions are simple, the cost is low and the accuracy is high. By using these methods, toxicity of papermaking wastewater could be determined accurately and easily. In the meantime, in order to test the toxicity of papermaking effluent more accurately, different testing methods can be combined and compared.
