摘要
The aviation industry, both in the military and civil domains, is moving towards widespread use of distributed computing networks. This is commonly known as Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA). IMA has been used in new generation advanced civil aircraft, such as Boeing 787 and Airbus 380. In this paper, first of all the structure of IMA was analyzed. The advantages of IMA were summed up compared with traditional avionics systems. IMA certification process based on DO-297 standard was presented. The key issues of the certification process were pointed out. Then the safety certification approach of reconfigurable IMA Systems is presented and the relevant algorithms are described.
