摘要
It is shown that the orthogonal collocation approach can be compared to the different approximations found in the literature using a straightforward quantitative criterion based on eigenvalue analysis. This work introduces a systematic and theoretically sound approach to the long-running discussion on LDF approximations, which started in 1955 with Glueckauf. (C) 2004 Elsevier Ltd.
