摘要
Since the 70s last century European labour market has passed gradual changes. Progressive implementation of labour-saving technologies, information and telecommunication technologies changed economic activity and consequently the labour market. The accompanying phenomenon of these changes in the labour market was growing uncertainty and the level of long-term unemployment. However, the industrial era has been gradually turning into a new era of knowledge. The discourse on the future of work has already begun. The trigger of this discourse was the Industry 4.0 concept, which was first introduced in Germany in 2011 and followed by the Work 4.0 concept, focused on changes in the world of work. The aim of the paper is to outline basic trends in the development of current changes in the Czech labour market in the context of changes in the European labor market, especially in the context of the Industry 4.0 concept. Since the second half of the 20th century many significant changes have occurred in the Czech labour market. Applied scientific inventions and labour-saving technologies have entered the work process and replaced manual workers. However, further changes in the labour market are expected. Work in the future will be changed due to the Industry 4.0 concept.
