摘要
Optical lithium fluoride-based ceramics was obtained using the method of hot pressing. LiF single crystal was the initial material which was grown in air using the Kiropulos technique and a polycrystalline material was obtained with the help of hot pressing in two variants. X-ray diffraction analysis, electron diffraction in the backscattering mode, optical microanalysis, IR and UV spectroscopy measurements and UVIS spectrophotometers were used to structurally characterize the final sample. The polycrystalline sample formation were established using x-ray diffraction from which the relative intensities of many reflections for the Miller indices of LiF single crystal, powder and samples were determined. IR and UV spectroscopy measurements proved that the optical transmission windows of ceramic samples match with the features of LiF single crystals. Under diode pumping, lasing was obtained on the LiF ceramic sample in which dye centers are created by ionizing radiation.
