摘要
Lincoln College of Technology from Grand Prairie, Texas, US, provides specifically designed welding courses for students to prepare them for careers in the field. The college is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Schools and Colleges of Technology, and approved and regulated by the Texas Workforce Commission. The Skilled Trades campus offers training in welding technology, air-conditioning, refrigeration, and heating (HVAC) technology, and other trades. The welding technology program prepares students to launch careers as structural and pipe welders. Students develop key fundamental skills during the initial courses and learn to apply these skills using different and more complex welding procedures. The welding procedures include shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux cored arc welding (FCAW), and gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW).
