摘要
Nanostructured support materials are considered in this work as a means to facilitate fundamental research in heterogeneous catalysis. Case studies are presented, in particular carbon nanofiber supported metal catalysts for hydrogenation catalysis. Electron tomography is shown to be an important characterization tool to image nanostructured catalyst in three dimensions with nanometer resolution.
