摘要
A Pipeline is the main transportation of liquid and gases, chemically stable substance. A leakage can be disastrous. FBG uses an optical fibre to detect changes in strain along the length of the pipeline and prevent it before it happens. In this paper we considered FBG analysis for leakage detection pipe. Maximum burst pressure in pipe obtained at zones of pipe during the flow analysis and topographical data obtained during flow analysis in standard pipe is considered for FBG analysis. Remarkable wavelength shift is obtained for each increase in burst pressure in the pipe. Proposed work will beneficial in petrochemical industries future.
