"If it were possible to think of ways for us to keep closer to the university": an analysis of the monitoring of alumni from UFPel's History undergrad program

摘要
This article discusses a study developed by UFPel's Programa de Educacao Tutorial Diversidade e Tolerancia [Tutorial Education, Diversity and Tolerance Program] (PET-DT) and by the Nucleo de Documentacao Historica Beatriz Loner [Historical Documentation Center] (NDH), with 186 UFPel History major alumni, using a Google Form. Through the use of quali-quantitative methodology, it was possible to analyze some data about the former undergraduates as well as small narratives constructed by them. The research sought to gather information about the perception they had about the training they received, as well as their job placements. The intention is to use the results to rethink the course itself, which is completing 40 years in 2021. For the construction of this text, reflections on being a teacher in Brazil were used.
