First-order Eikonal Model Analysis for 11Li + p Elastic Scattering at 62 MeV/nucleon

摘要
The elastic scattering of the Li-11 + p system at 62 MeV/nucleon has been analyzed within the framework of the first-order eikonal model. Assuming that the Li-11 nucleus consists of a core of Li-9 and two neutrons, we take the nuclear potential as a sum of contributions due to the core and the two halo neutrons. The calculated angular distribution, taking into account the first-order eikonal phase shift, is found to be in very good agreement with the observed data. We investigate the effects of halo potentials On the effective potentials, phase shifts, and the cross sections. We found that the break-up effect of halo neutrons is important to understanding Li-11 + p elastic scattering.
