Angular correlation between K alpha photons and L(2,3)-M(2,3)M(2,3) Auger electrons following argon 1s photoionization

摘要
An analysis is presented of the angular correlation between KCL fluorescence photons and subsequently emitted L(2,3)-M(2,3)M(2,3) Auger electrons following K-shell ionization. The relative intensities of the Auger lines change in the coincidence experiment compared to the normal L(2,3)-M(2,3)M(2,3) Auger lines measured after direct 2p photoionization. A theoretical model is introduced to account for angular correlation effects and applied to reproduce experimental findings.
