摘要
The effect of the content of carbon and alloy components on the parameters of the Barkhausen jumps, which are determined by the form of the magnetic domain structure and the processes of irreversible displacement of domain boundaries, is considered. It is show that when the content of carbon and alloy components in steels is increased the domain structure becomes more finely divided, which leads to a reduction in the mobility of the domain boundaries and the formation of a large number of minute magnetization jumps of small amplitude. The structural changes due to the different content of carbon and alloy elements in the steel affect the parameters of the Barkhausen jumps, which enables the Barkhausen effect to be used for the nondestructive testing of the structural state of steels.
