At the present time, the solution of multi-criteria optimization problems is one of the modern trends in the field of technical sciences. The task version of minimizing (Pareto-efficiency) the electrical energy loss from asymmetry and non-sinusoidal currents in the distribution network by switching single-phase electricity consumers between phases is exposed in the article. The solution concept for the problem is expounded. Particular attention is paid to the formation and analysis of multicriteria objective function. The structure of private criteria, their priority and calculation formulas are determined. The normalization methodology for the selected criteria and their converging into one objective function is demonstrated. In particular, the objective function includes three following criteria: (1) a criterion for asymmetry (irregularity) of distributing the effective current values across phases, (2) a criterion characterizing the content of higher harmonic components of currents in the distribution network at the level of a transformer station and (3) a criterion determining the required number of switching single phase power consumers between phases. For some criteria, various options for calculating the values are considered depending on the particular task. Based on the preliminary results of numerical experiments and the calculation of the set of feasible solutions to the problem, a reasonable conclusion was made about the need of using agent metaheuristics in order to solve it.
