摘要
Due to the complicated particularity of Z-source network, the Z-source resonant converter and its soft-switching characteristics have rarely been studied before. This paper discusses the research actualities and difficulties of the soft-switching technique of the Z-source converter. On this basis, a novel Z-source full-bridge resonant dc/dc converter (ZFRDC) is proposed as a classic example to analyze the performance of Z-source resonant converter. The operational principle of ZFRDC is analyzed step by step by using time-domain analysis method and the soft-switching characteristics are analyzed by using the phase plane theory. Both the theoretical and practical analyses demonstrate the novel features of ZFRDC.
