摘要
ination of the hip is necessary during initial evaluation of knee complaints. ? Radiographs are the diagnostic imaging modality of choice with advanced imaging being used when radiographs are equivocal, such as with suspected stress fractures and slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE) (pre-slip). ? Learning radiographic measurements and relationships is necessary for diagnosing hip pathology. ? Early, proper diagnosis and treatment with conservative measures can avoid long-term complications and the need for surgery in many adolescent hip pathologies.
