Dominant role of pyronin B on structural, optical and fluorescence properties of chemically synthesized ZnO loaded PVA polymer nanocomposites

摘要
This article explains briefly regarding synthesis of nanoparticles (NPs) and preparation of polymer nanocomposites (PNCs) using user friendly and cost-effective methods. The synthesis of Zinc oxide (ZnO) NPs is confirmed by the characterization of High Resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy (HR-TEM) and X-ray Diffraction (XRD) analysis. The prepared Pyronin B (PyB)/ZnO/Poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA) PNCs show good fluorescence (FL) emission properties with the quenching effect as increase in the dye wt.% in the PNCs. The Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) studies supports the interaction among PVA, ZnO and PyB. The prepared PyB doped ZnO/PVA PNCs accomplish deep blue emission with their Commission International d' Eclairge (CIE) color co-ordinates spotted at (0.1464, 0.0383), (0.1480, 0.0335), and (0.1517, 0.0275) and the same PNCs achieve yellowish orange with CIE color coordinates spotted at (0.5805, 0.4189), (0.6057, 0.3938) and (0.6244, 0.3752) for 0.5 wt.%, 1 wt.% and 2 wt.% PNCs respectively. These values contribute profitable advice for making deep blue emitters and the organic light emitting diode (OLED) technology have accepted appreciable attention in the whole world.
