Comparison of knowledge on nutrition and eating habits with students from Ljubljana and Zagreb

摘要
Nowadays, the importance of nutrition is emphasized frequent v, name v because of the increasing number of overweight children and adolescents. As a result, illnesses brought about by being overweight are more evident. Because of the influence that elementary school teachers and physical education teachers have on pupils, we decided to determine the eating habits and knowledge of nutrition with undergraduate students attending the Faculty of Education in Ljubljano, Slovenia and the Faculty of Kinesiology in Zagreb, Croatia. The data collection instruments were two questionnaires that were distributed to the participants. We used descriptive statistics. Discriminant analysis was used to determine the differences between the two groups and the T-test for independent samples was used to determine differences in individual variables. The results of the study showed that there were statistically Significant differences in eating habits between the students from Ljubljana and Zagreb. More specifically, the participants from the Faculty of Education Ljubljana had better eating habits while participants from the Faculty of Kinesiology Zagreb had greater knowledge on nutrition.
