摘要
We report on a 40 Gb/s photoreceiver made with a 27 dB-gain SOA - 0.9 nm tunable filter module, connected to a 0.78 A/W - 31 dB-gain PIN-GaAs PHEMT module. Overall gain is 0.7 V/mu W, with a 37 GHz bandwidth, a 10.4 pA/root Hz electrical noise and a 7-8 dB noise figure for SOA.
