摘要
Canadian engineering job market sees growing skill-gap between demand and supply. In the meantime Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB) initiated a paradigm shift in Canadian engineering education through introduction of its twelve outcome-based graduate attributes for undergraduate engineering programs and accreditation of undergraduate engineering programs at non-university institutes, which are primarily responsible for providing applied education for local job market. This paper presents a study on the potential of this paradigm shift in reducing education-job mismatch, and a case-study of one new non-university engineering program.
