A piezo-electric transducer for bone conduction audiometry

摘要
Bone conduction audiometry is generally performed using commercially available electromechanical transducers. These devices suffer from poor frequency response, limited dynamic range and are awkward to calibrate. This paper discusses a piezoelectric transducer which offers superior performance in all these areas and may make high frequency bone conduction audiometry possible.
