Let (A, B) is an element of C-nxn x C-nxm and M be an (A, B)-invariant subspace. Let C(A, B) be the controllability subspace of the pair (A, B). If M boolean AND C(A, B) = M boolean AND Im, B, under additional hypotheses, necessary and sufficient conditions for the stability of the subspace M are given. (c) 2006 Elsevier Inc.
