摘要
Due to rapid industrialization and urbanization in the world, diesel consumption has increased and will be cause to fossil fuel crisis and also an energy problems in near future. There are hazardous environmental impacts such as global warming, deforestation, acidification, ozone depletion and photochemical smog. From the last few decades, global fossil fuel energy use and consumption has sharply increases to double. There has to search other than fossil fuel for an alternative resources and would be environ-mental friendly, economically efficient, and socially equitable. We know as fossil fuel is a limited source of energy. The Food waste are very difficult to handling. Also there are disposal problems affecting human health and caused to polluting environment. Due to rain and other moisture presence, it started being harmful leachates. This excess food waste contain carbohydrates, vitamins, lipids, phosphates, etc., can be use in bio-ethanol and biodiesel fuel in a diesel engine without any change in the engine. The main aim of this research is to identify the impacts of biodiesel quantity on emissions and performance characteristics of a small utility compression ignition engine. The biodiesel compression ratio, flow rate, and engine load as input factors like brake thermal efficiency (BTE), CO, CO2, HC, H2S, BSEC, NO2, and smoke were targeted. Finally blended biodiesel tested in diesel engine and compared them with baseline diesel. We continue to be green-washed into collecting more organic and sustainable products than we really need.
