摘要
The article presents the study results of the two-dimensional conductivity arising along the interface between two insulator organic polymers. Polymers are the polyarylenephthalide class, which differ both in the structure of the skeleton part of the molecules and the side functional groups. It is shown that the resulting conductivity value along the polymer/ polymer interface is determined by a combination of several factors: the dipole moment of the functional groups, their orientation relative to the plane of the interface, and the density of these groups on the interface. Under certain conditions, such an interface can form a quantum well for both electrons and holes, depending on the magnitude and direction of the surface polarization field. Corresponding estimates of the surface polarization field are given, which correlate well with the results of measurements of the conductivity, charge carrier mobility, etc. It is also shown that the activation character of the temperature dependency of the conductivity is caused by the formation of a nanoscale hetero contact of a metal three-dimensional electrode with a two-dimensional organic interface.
