摘要
A Victorian brown coal was pyrolysed in a "fixed-bed" reactor with capability of heating coal particles rapidly. The formation of I-ICN and H2S showed very different trends from that of NH3. While HCN and/or its precursors strongly interact with fresh char, the interaction between HCN (and/or its precursors) and char is not an important source of NH3 formation. The active hydrogen required for the formation of NH3 is believed to have its origin in thermal cracking reactions in the char.
