摘要
We present a series of three query languages for databases containing paraconsistent information, i.e. information that is incomplete or even inconsistent. Our languages are 4-valued extensions, respectively, of the SELECT statement of SQL, the tuple relational calculus, and the domain relational calculus used for relational databases. Our generalized 4-valued semantics pen-nits representation and manipulation of paraconsistent information for numerous interdisciplinary applications rich in such information, for which existing methods are inadequate.
