摘要
An optimal signal control model is proposed that minimizes the traffic emissions with restricted emission concentration in environment-sensitive areas where cars and motorcycles are prevailing. The proposed model comprises four sub-models: mixed traffic cell-transmission model, traffic emission model, Gaussian puff dispersion model, and stepwise genetic fuzzy logic controller model. Mixed traffic behaviors are replicated by the mixed traffic cell-transmission model, traffic emissions are estimated by TEDS 7.0 line source emissions database, emission concentration is estimated by the Gaussian puff model, and optimal cycle length and time split are solved by the stepwise genetic fuzzy logic controller model. Performance of the proposed model is tested at an experimental intersection as oppose to a pre-timed signal control strategy as the baseline. The results show that the proposed model has outperformed in reducing the emission concentration.
