SUSTAINABLE INNOVATION PRACTICES IN INCUBATED COMPANIES OF THE CITY OF SANTA MARIA, RS.

With the increase of competition between companies, it is evident the need to adopt strategies that increase competitiveness. In this context, sustainable innovation practices become relevant due to the growing concern with the aspects necessary for companies to carry out their economic activities, minimizing the negative social and environmental impact resulting from their operations. Thus, the present study aims to analyze the adoption of sustainable innovation practices in companies incubated in the city of Santa Maria - RS. For that, a study of exploratory nature and qualitative approach was carried out in three companies covered by the scope of the project in the city of Santa Maria - RS. The results showed that companies that present innovative bias adopt sustainable practices at different levels in their activities.
