摘要：

In this paper, a web-based information system for pollution monitoring is presented for Lake Ohrid. The ecological state of Lake Ohrid, which represents a rare natural ecosystem inhabited by many endemic and relict species, has been analyzed in previous studies. Aim of the present study is to give a preview of the possibilities offered by the web application. A web server and corresponding software are used for this presentation. In this way, the data and the analysis are performed in one place and they are available to any user having only a web browser.
