Environmental data are usually subject-specific structured and incompatible for multidisciplinary applications. The following article is shown how a harmonized data set can be constructed and how these environmental data can be made available according to the INSPIRE definitions of Annex-topic hydrography on the example of the implementation of the EC Water Framework Directive and the EC-Flood Risk Directive in the Free State of Saxony.
