摘要
The Potala Palace and Sakya Temple are two famous Buddhist sites of a long history in Tibet. For the first time, the animal glue has been found to be used as binding media in all the samples taken from the two sites by reversed- phase high-performance liquid chromatography. This paper studied the origin and the development of the mural techniques in Tibet by comparing them with ancient mural techniques and especially with those recorded in the Indian Silpa text.
