摘要
During the 2004 annual meeting of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgeons (AAOHNS) in New York, David Kennedy was honored for his role in the introduction of functional endoscopic surgery in the United States and for his 20 years of educational service to rhinologic surgeons. It was a wonderful time to reflect on the many changes that have occurred in imaging technology and application during the last 2 decades. Furthermore, the technology displayed by the industrial vendors may forecast the direction imaging technology is taking and how it could affect the practice of head and neck surgery in the future.
