High-order harmonic generation from femtosecond laser-aligned molecules

摘要：
We report a sensitive method using high-order harmonic generation to detect revival structures in fs-laser-induced, field free alignment of a molecular rotational wave packet. The revival structure is directly observed on the time-dependent harmonic signal produced with the pump-probe technique. The harmonic signals for N-2 and O-2 represent the characteristic behaviors depending on the molecular structure.
