摘要
In skeletal muscle, activity and capacity of the Na+-K+ pump are controlled by several hormones, contractile activity, growth, and nutrition. Acute or chronic reduction of the pump capacity inhibits contractile performance. Conversely, acute hormonal stimulation of the Na+-K+ pomp leads to marked, rapid force recovery in muscles where contractility is suppressed by high extracellular K+.
