摘要
Microgrid systems, especially off-grid microgrid systems are getting wider attention due to its effectiveness and reliability. Microgrids are best tool for electrification of remote villages which are not connected to national grid or having very weak grid connectivity. Low Voltage Direct Current (LVDC) technology can be efficiently used in microgrid systems for better safety. Smart metering technology can provide better control and demand management in microgrid system. This paper describes the development, implementation and demonstration of off-grid green microgrid technology suitable for remote Indian villages by combining power conditioning systems, LVDC and smart metering technologies.
