摘要
The basic physics behind the light interaction with plasmonic nano-particles is reviewed. The theoretical foundations of light scattering and emission in the near of one plasmonic particle (a plasmonic monomer) and two interacting particles (a plasmonic dimer) are presented. Both metal and graphene based structures are considered. Applications of such a simple plasmonic nano-structure to the light emission control as well as to the design of nano-antennas and meta-materials are systematically discussed.
