摘要
In this paper, a software package for field distribution predictions is introduced, which is implemented by using a fast ray tracing technique with space-meshing and the uniform geometrical theory of diffraction (UTD). By use of the adjacency relationships of the tetrahedrons obtained from space meshing, rays can be traced without intersection tests for fast calculations. The UTD is employed for the diffraction fields to improve the prediction accuracy. The package is tested with simple examples or real scenarios for the correctness and effectiveness verification. The results show that the package is suitable for analyses of the field distributions in complex environments, such as indoor or outdoor scenarios of wireless communications.
